Hate speech, political campaigning, or content that targets any group
AI-generated or spun content — we run every submission through detection tools
Off-topic submissions unrelated to weddings, events, parties, hospitality, home, lifestyle, or small business marketing

Link rules within accepted posts:

All outbound links must point to the contributor's own primary domain or verified social profiles
No exact-match commercial anchor text (e.g., "best [keyword] in [city]") — anchors must be branded, URL-based, or natural
No links to redirects, URL shorteners, affiliate networks, or third-party "money" pages
We reserve the right to nofollow, mark as sponsored, or remove any link at our discretion

Submission Guidelines

Length: 800–1,200 words
Originality: Your post must be 100% original, non-AI-generated, and not published elsewhere
Tone: Conversational, helpful, and visually inspiring
Formatting: Use subheadings (H2/H3), short paragraphs, and bullet points where needed
Images: Include a lead header photo AND at least 3 high-quality images within the blog (you must own the rights or have permission to share)
Links: You may include 1–2 relevant links to your website or social media profiles, subject to the link rules above

Pricing & Publishing Options

We offer three publishing options. Choose the one that fits your goals. You will only be invoiced if our team accepts your submission. All prices are non-negotiable and non-refundable once your post is live.

Option 1 — Guest Post with Reciprocal Backlink — $25

You submit an original 800–1,200 word post (per the guidelines above)
We publish it on the Boxwood Rose blog with a do-follow backlink to your site
You publish a do-follow backlink back to Boxwood Rose from a different domain you own or control within 48 hours of your post going live
That reciprocating site must be indexed in Google, topically relevant (events, weddings, lifestyle, home, hospitality, small business), and not a PBN, expired domain, or link farm
Best fit for: creatives, vendors, and brands building mutual SEO value

Option 2 — Guest Post, No Reciprocal Link Required — $45

You submit an original 800–1,200 word post (per the guidelines above)
We publish it on the Boxwood Rose blog with a do-follow backlink to your site
No reciprocating link is required from you
Best fit for: agencies, link builders, and clients who can't or don't want to add an outgoing link from their own site

Option 3 — Link Insertion in an Existing Post — $50

We add one contextual do-follow link to your site inside a relevant, already-published Boxwood Rose blog post
You don't write anything — you provide the target URL, preferred anchor text (subject to our anchor rules), and a short note about the page being linked
Anchor text must be branded, URL-based, or natural — no exact-match commercial keywords
Best fit for: marketers seeking fast placements on existing indexed pages

All three options are subject to our content standards and the prohibited topics list above. We reserve the right to decline any request before invoicing.

Our Process — How It Works

Here's exactly what to expect from submission to publishing:

Step 1 — Submit the form. Use the form at the bottom of this page. Tell us which option you're requesting (1, 2, or 3), your topic or target URL, and any relevant details. If you're submitting a written post, you may either attach it or share a Google Doc link.

Step 2 — We review. Our editorial team reviews every submission against the guidelines and prohibited topics on this page. We reserve the right to decline any request for any reason. If declined, no invoice is sent and you are not charged.

Step 3 — We send an invoice. If accepted, we email you a direct invoice. We do not send PayPal links and we will never accept PayPal payments. Any message claiming to be from us that includes a PayPal link is not from Boxwood Rose.

Step 4 — Payment is required before publishing. We do not allow payment after publishing under any circumstances. Once your invoice is paid in full and we have received all required files (article, images, anchor text, target URL, etc.), your placement enters our publishing queue.

Step 5 — Publishing window: typically 3–5 business days. Posts and link insertions are published we strive for 3–5 business days after both payment and all required files have been received — whichever arrives last starts the clock.

Step 6 — We share the live link. Once published, we email you the live URL of your post or link insertion. For Option 1, the 48-hour window to add your reciprocating backlink starts when you receive that email.

What We Reserve the Right to Do

By submitting your article, you acknowledge and agree that Boxwood Rose reserves the right to:

Edit for clarity, length, grammar, formatting, or SEO without prior approval
Decline any submission that does not meet our editorial standards, topic focus, or prohibited-topics policy
Remove or modify links — including changing do-follow to nofollow or sponsored — that we feel are not relevant or compliant
Add internal links to related blog content or services
Update or republish your post in the future for accuracy or timeliness
Remove previously published content if we later determine it no longer aligns with our brand values or quality expectations
